If you are not from Africa, if you were not born in Africa, then you are not an African American. I don't give a shit if your ancient ancestors were from Africa, or even your father.

The term "African American" is only applied to black people, which implies that black people only come from Africa. They come from every other fucking country on the planet as well, thanks to modern travel innovations.

If you go back far enough, every last human being on Earth has an ancestor from Africa, because the earliest human being (supposedly the first) was born in Africa.

If people who want to be politically correct want the word "correct" to mean anything in that phrase, they should list every fucking country that a person's ancestors were born in. All the way back to the beginning of humans.

Recently a white man who was born in Africa and immigrated to the U.S. was kicked out of college in his first year because when asked about his heritage, he correctly called himself African American. His black friends in class didn't mind, it was the white professor, being a politically correct asshole, complained to the dean and had him expelled. This is according to a story on CNN.

By calling someone African American, you're calling them out on their race more than someone who just calls that person A FUCKING PERSON. Give it a rest.

He was born in Africa, came to the U.S. in 1984 to attend New York University. Became a naturalized citizen in 1990. Has been attending NYU since his immigration, until he was expelled in 2006 for "Conduct unbecoming of a student." In other words, not being politically correct.

The first complaint was from a white girl in his class, made directly to the dean, saying "He's white, he can't be an African American." The immigrant was forced to undergo a psychiatric test upon further complaints from class-mates, and was found to be completely fit for continuing his classes. However, soon thereafter he was expelled. He has levied a lawsuit against NYU, and it is pending.

Thanks to political correctness, a promising doctor has been denied his chance to practice.
